How to Identify Authentic PolkaDot Mushroom Bars: Real Vs. Fake

PolkaDot Mushroom Bar: Real or Authentic vs. Fake or Counterfeit

Creating a truly unique product goes far beyond branding, and the enigmatic PolkaDot Mushroom Chocolate Bar is a true masterpiece, blending PolkaDot’s proprietary psilocybin mushroom blend and premium Belgian chocolate. Fake brands of PolkaDot mushroom chocolate have flooded the internet marketplace and smoke shops.

Thousands of smoke shop owners were lied to and believed these products were authentic PolkaDot mushroom products. Instead, these counterfeit bars contain dangerous synthetic chemicals, such as the Polk A Dot Amanita magic blend chocolate bar.

An authentic PolkaDot shroom product allows you to win cool prizes such as NFT rewards and concert tickets through the verification sticker.

Authentic PolkaDot mushroom chocolate bars do not contain Amanita muscaria. After 4-ACO was exposed, many of these Amanita companies switched to non-detect analogs. This is when things became even more dangerous, as any lab can explain that non-detection can mean anything.

To test a product, you must let the lab know the exact compound you want to test so the chromatography machine can detect it. That means added THC can be non-detectable, and even worse, something the brands themselves don’t even know.

Please do not consume “Polk A Dot” bars with amanita on the packaging and circular NFC verification stickers. These counterfeit mushroom bars have flooded the smoke shop market and are extremely dangerous.

Hundreds, if not thousands, of smoke shop owners were misled into believing these products were authentic PolkaDot products. Instead, these fake bars contain dangerous synthetic chemicals.

The recent CDPH warning just confirmed this, as the counterfeit shroom bars mentioned below were found to be adulterated with dangerous psychoactive drugs, including 4-Acetoxy-DET (4-Acetoxy-N, N-diethyltryptamine) and 4-Hydroxy-DET (4-Hydroxy-N, N-diethyltryptamine).

The Dangers of Consuming Fake PolkaDot Mushroom Products

An article published by UC San Diego titled “Unregulated Sales of a Toxic and Hallucinogenic Mushroom Endanger Public Health” shows that Americans’ interest in a potentially harmful “magic mushroom” is soaring, with Google searches skyrocketing 114 percent from 2022 to 2023, according to a new study by researchers at the University of California San Diego Herbert Wertheim School of Public Health and Human Longevity Science.

In a paper published in the American Journal of Preventive Medicine, the scientists suggest that the growing market for Amanita muscaria may be partly sparked by emerging clinical research supporting the safety and efficacy of psilocybin as a treatment for depression.

Like psilocybin mushrooms, Amanita muscaria has psychotropic effects. These include a feeling of weightlessness, visual and auditory hypersensitivity, space distortion, unawareness of time, and colored hallucinations. The psychotropic effects are produced by compounds naturally occurring in the mushroommuscimol and ibotenic acid, its biosynthetic precursor.

However, in addition to being psychotropic, these compounds can also be more toxic than fentanyl, cocaine, and PCP, according to the scientists’ review of estimates from published mouse studies.
